About GQ Woman

Rita started GQ Woman as a sister company to GQ Independent, after working in the finance industry for over 25 years and has been trying to encourage women to take more control over their financial well-being- often something left to men!

It is important to manage the financial resilience for women as it helps to improve financial security for all and importantly for ourselves, our family and loved ones.

I have 6 key ‘Moments that Matter’ on a Woman’s Financial Journey which identify why it i so important for women should prioritise their financial health!

Studying; Re-qualifying to fit in with family needs

Entering and Re-entering the workplace (perhaps After having children)

Relationship making or breaking

Motherhood or becoming a carer (more of us are caring for children in our 50’s, while also becoming carers for older relatives)

Later life planning and entering retirement (this can be daunting where women have had to take career breaks) and hence have much less built up as means of pensions when compared to men

Ill health, Infirmity and dying

Sarah and I would like to express our thanks to Rita for all of her advice and help over the last three years. The expertise and attention to detail cannot be faulted. Before we met Rita we were confused and unsure about what we could and should do with our pension as it was quite complex in nature. Not only did she manage to sort it out for us she put us at ease from the moment we met her. Rita explained everything to us in terms that we could easily understand. It is clear to us that she has a genuine interest in achieving the best for her clients. Rita is always just a phone call away if we ever need her. We would both highly recommend Rita and GQI to anyone wanting to achieve a better financial outcome. Thank you again for everything, Sarah and Jeremy. ‘’
